Job Accountabilities

Member of an inter discipline central assurance team dealing with assurance function from direct tax perspective by designing and strengthening assurance frameworks, driving real-time monitoring of transactions undertaken by business and its accounting, identifying systemic risks and control gaps, and ensuring robust governance from direct tax perspective and requirement. Partner with business, finance, IT, and accounts teams to enhance compliance, improve process effectiveness, and be the key bridge between the Direct Tax compliance needs and the business and accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Assurance function by establishing and continuously enhancing assurance methodologies, control frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms.




- Oversee real-time monitoring of transactions being undertaken and reflected in accounts and reporting outputs to proactively identify compliance and operational risks.
- Drive root cause analysis of recurring issues and recommend sustainable process improvements and preventive controls.
- Lead forensic reviews, SAP-based assurance activities, and data-driven audits to assess process effectiveness from direct tax perspective.
- Collaborate with Direct Tax Compliance and other teams Finance, Business, Internal Audit, IT, and accounts to strengthen governance and mitigate risks.
- Develop dashboards, MIS, and analytical reports to provide actionable insights to leadership on assurance findings and risk trends.
