Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Head / National Head – Solar Operations to lead and grow our Solar Energy business on a pan-India scale.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in solar/renewable energy business development, operations, technical-commercial pre-sales, P&L; management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete Solar Business Unit, including P&L;, revenue growth, profitability, and business expansion.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for market penetration and scalable business growth.
- Drive business development across Residential (B2C), Commercial, and Industrial (B2B/C&I;) solar segments.
- Lead technical-commercial pre-sales, including project estimation, site layouts, power generation modelling, and ROI calculations.
- Prepare and lead commercial proposals,



bids, government empanelments, and corporate pitches.
- Build and manage relationships with key industrial and commercial clients.
- Recruit, structure, and scale Sales, Business Development, Engineering/EPC, Project Coordination, and Field Operations teams.
- Monitor multi-state operations and ensure timely, quality project execution.
- Manage operating budgets, project expenditures, and profitability metrics.
- Establish strong operational processes, performance benchmarks, accountability, and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements
- 8–10+ years of proven experience in Solar PV / Renewable Energy / Power Sector.
- Strong track record in business growth, operations, or leadership roles.
- Experience handling both B2C solar schemes and B2B/C&I; projects.
- Solid understanding of solar systems, technical requirements, component pricing, and grid connectivity.
