Role & responsibilities
- Manage and administer VMware vSphere infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain VMware HA, FT, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and DRS.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
- Perform VM provisioning, migration, cloning, and resource management.
- Administer Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
- Administer Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Monitor server performance and troubleshoot OS-related issues.
- Implement backup, patching, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Knowledge of Microsoft licensing concepts.
- Manage on-premises data center infrastructure and server hardware.
- Install, configure, and maintain rack servers, blade servers, chassis,



and storage systems.
- Perform server hardware troubleshooting, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate hardware installations, rack and stack activities, and cabling.
- Monitor power, cooling, and environmental conditions within the data center.
- Manage hardware lifecycle, asset inventory, and vendor support cases.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors for warranty and replacement activities.
- Support server migrations, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure expansion projects.
- Maintain data center documentation and asset records.
