Job Description
Position Overview
The Procurement & Supply Chain Lead - Wind PMC will be responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and governing supply chain and logistics activities associated with wind energy projects. The role focuses on ensuring timely availability of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) components, Balance of Plant (BoP) materials, Underground System (USS) packages, electrical equipment, commissioning spares,
and other critical project materials required for successful project execution.
Acting as part of the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team, the position provides independent oversight of procurement progress, manufacturing status, inspection readiness, dispatch planning, transportation logistics, storage requirements, and material delivery risks. The role works closely with OEMs, EPC contractors, logistics partners, planning teams, construction teams, warehouse personnel, and project stakeholders to ensure schedule-critical equipment is delivered and available in accordance with project milestones.
The incumbent will support the Construction Manager and Wind PMC Team Leader in identifying supply chain risks, implementing expediting strategies, and maintaining visibility of material readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
