Role & responsibilities

1. Contribute as an investigating officer
- Lead investigations into allegations of employee misconduct, including qualified misconduct, harassment / inappropriate behavior, policy / process violations, involvement in bribery / kickback schemes, etc.
- Collect and analyse/review relevant documentation, such as emails, performance reviews, other relevant records, etc. and forming conclusions based on the findings.
- Conduct interviews with involved parties, including complainants, witnesses, and the accused employee, to gather information and assess credibility.
- Drafting comprehensive investigation reports that summarize findings, analysis, and provide recommendations for appropriate disciplinary actions or other corrective measures based on investigation findings.
- Participate as a Management Witness in disciplinary action proceedings resulting from from investigation endeavours.

Participate in various pro-active initiatives such as preventive vigilance risk assessments, anti-corruption initiatives, etc.

3. Assist team in preparation of various Management / Board MIS and reports

4. Overall, the candidate is to ensure privacy and confidentiality of all information gathered during the investigation process; and ensuring all investigations are conducted in accordance with established company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards. Further, the candidate is expected to work / collaborate with other stakeholders in the Bank to ensure effective and appropriate handling of misconduct allegations.

5. Be abreast of relevant regulatory guidelines and circulars as relevant to the Vigilance function.
