About the Role

Speedways Electric is expanding its product portfolio into high-performance prefabricated and modular spaces, including office conference pods, acoustic focus cabins, security cabins, and custom outdoor utility pods.

We are seeking a hands-on Structural Engineer – Prefabrication to lead the structural design, load analysis, material selection, and fabrication engineering of our modular pod line. You will be responsible for translating architectural concepts into robust, lightweight, structurally sound, and factory-manufacturable steel/aluminum pod structures built for durability, lifting, transport, and quick assembly.

Key Responsibilities1. Structural Design & Engineering Analysis
- Design primary and secondary structural steel/aluminum frameworks (MS, GI, Light Gauge Steel Frames / LGSF, aluminum extrusions) for indoor and outdoor modular pods.
- Perform static, dynamic, wind load, seismic, acoustic shell support,



and deflection structural calculations in compliance with relevant standards (IS 800, IS 875, or equivalent codes).
- Conduct load path and stress analysis for lifting points (crane/forklift transportability), agile transport vibrations, and ground-anchoring stability.

2. Prefabrication & Manufacturing Integration
- Translate architectural pod concepts into production-ready Shop Drawings, connection detailing (welded, bolted, modular joinery), and structural Assembly Drawings.
- Prepare precise Bill of Materials (BOM), structural cut lists, and material specs for optimal material utilization and minimum scrap.
- Collaborate directly with factory floor supervisors, welders, and fabricators during prototyping and mass production.

3. Material Selection & Detailing
- Evaluate and select structural materials, cladding framing systems, insulated wall/roof integration systems, and floor structural bases.
