Job Summary

We are looking for skilled Structural Fabricators to join our shipbuilding and ship repair team. The candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, aligning, and installing structural steel components such as plates, beams, angles, channels, brackets, foundations, bulkheads, decks, and hull structures as per approved drawings and specifications. These responsibilities are consistent with standard structural fabrication work, including interpreting drawings, measuring, aligning, fitting, and assembling metal components.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret structural drawings, fabrication drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
- Measure, mark, cut, bevel, bend, and prepare steel plates and structural sections.
- Fabricate and assemble ship hulls, decks, bulkheads, frames, stiffeners, foundations, brackets, and other structural components.
- Perform accurate fit-up, alignment, leveling, and tack welding before final welding.
- Use hand tools, grinders, gas-cutting equipment, power tools, and fabrication machinery safely.
- Check dimensions, angles, gaps,



alignment, and tolerances as per drawings.
- Work with welders, fitters, riggers, QC inspectors, and supervisors to complete fabrication activities.
- Assist in onboard structural installation, modification, and repair works.
- Identify fabrication defects, dimensional discrepancies, and material issues and report them to the supervisor.
- Follow approved work procedures, quality standards, and shipyard safety requirements.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure secure handling of tools and materials.
- Use required PPE and follow all HSE/Safety procedures.

Qualification
- ITI – Fitter / Welder / Fabricator or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- Candidates with relevant practical experience in structural fabrication may also be considered.

Experience
- 2–10 years of experience in structural fabrication.
- Experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, marine, offshore, or struc
