Role Description
This is a Shutdown, on-site role for a Scaffolding Inspector located in Barmer. The Scaffolding Inspector will conduct daily inspections of erected scaffolding to verify structural integrity, proper assembly, and compliance with safety standards and regulations. The role involves identifying hazards, documenting inspection findings, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring that all scaffolding is tagged and approved before use. The inspector will coordinate with site supervisors and safety teams, verify that fall protection and access systems are correctly installed, and support toolbox talks or briefings related to working at height and confined spaces. The role also includes maintaining accurate inspection records and assisting in incident prevention by proactively monitoring work areas.

Qualifications
- Strong scaffolding knowledge and practical experience, including Scaffolding inspection and safe erection practices.
- Competence in working at height and fall protection,



with the ability to assess and verify safety measures for elevated work areas.
- Experience with confined space safety procedures, including hazard identification and compliance with entry protocols.
- Relevant safety certifications such as STI or equivalent, and formal training in scaffolding safety or HSE disciplines.
- Understanding of national and industry safety standards related to scaffolding and construction activities.
- Valuable observational, reporting, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspections.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with site teams, communicate clearly, and intervene constructively to address safety issues.
- 05 Years of Prior experience in industrial, construction, or infrastructure projects is preferred; a technical or safety-related diploma or degree is an advantage.
