Job Title: Store In-charge Raw Materials, Packing Materials & Additives

Department: Stores / Supply Chain

Reporting To: Warehouse Manager / Supply Chain Manager

Job Purpose

To manage the receipt, storage, inventory control, and timely issuance of raw materials, packing materials, and additives required for production while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and company procedures.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store materials as per company procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock availability.
- Issue materials to production based on approved requisitions.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO principles for inventory management.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, and traceability of all materials.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and 5S standards.
- Prevent material damage, contamination, and pilferage.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Planning departments.
- Perform daily stock verification and periodic physical inventory.




- Maintain all inventory-related documents and ERP transactions.
- Monitor shelf life and ensure no expired materials are issued.
- Support internal, customer, and certification audits.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, BRCGS/FSSC 22000, HACCP, and safety requirements.
- Report inventory discrepancies, non-conforming materials, and operational issues to management.
- Supervise material handlers/store assistants and ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline (Supply Chain, Commerce, Science, or Engineering preferred).

Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in stores or warehouse operations in a manufacturing or food processing industry.
