Role Description
The Junior Engineer will support the operation and maintenance of cold storage and CA systems in a full time, on-site role based in Pulwama. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring equipment performance, checking temperature, humidity, and gas levels, and assisting in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.



The role involves coordinating with senior engineers and technical staff to implement preventive maintenance, perform routine inspections, and document operational data. The Junior Engineer will also help ensure adherence to safety standards, support process improvements, and assist in smooth functioning of grading, packaging, and storage operations.

Qualifications
- Technical skills in mechanical or electrical engineering, including basic knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, or industrial equipment.
- Ability to monitor and interpret equipment parameters, with attention to temperature, humidity, and control systems.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills for diagnosing operational issues.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operations staff.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry, reporting, and use of monitoring software.
