About the Project

We are hiring an experienced
Senior Airtable Developer
to build Phase 3 of a field operations management platform for a commercial construction/fire protection company.

The client already has an Airtable solution in production for bidding and design workflows. This project expands the platform into field operations by creating an external portal for employees and subcontractors, automating quality control processes, and digitizing project closeout documentation.

This is
not an entry-level Airtable project
. We are looking for someone who has delivered enterprise Airtable implementations with external portals and integrations.

Responsibilities
- Extend an existing Airtable system without rebuilding the current architecture.
- Build a secure external portal using
Softr, Noloco, Stacker
, or a similar platform.
- Configure role-based access for internal users.
- Implement row-level security for subcontractors.
- Integrate Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) SSO for employee authentication.




- Create mobile/tablet-friendly forms for field inspections and QC checklists.
- Implement electronic signature workflows with record locking after signing.
- Build automations for document generation and project closeout packages.
- Document the solution and provide administrator handoff.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of Airtable development experience
- Robust Airtable database architecture and automation experience
- Experience with external portal platforms:
- Softr
- Noloco
- Stacker
- Glide (acceptable if similar experience)
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) SSO integration
- REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Row-level security and multi-tenant application design
- Airtable Interfaces and Automations
- Excellent English communication
