Role & responsibilities
- 5-7 years in a techno-functional / Business Analyst / IT delivery role, ideally in D2C, eCommerce, or retail.
- Technically well-versed: understanding of how APIs work, coding and development best practices, and how website performance can be measured and improved.
- Hands-on experience managing a D2C / eCommerce platform (e.g., VTEX, Shopify, commercetools, Magento, or similar) platform-agnostic; the ability to learn and operate the platform matters more than a specific tool.
- Understanding of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar).
- Solid understanding of D2C / online retail processes catalog, cart, checkout, promotions, and order management.
- Understanding of a marketing automation / customer-engagement platform (e.g., CleverTap, MoEngage, Braze, or similar) — the ability to build and manage journeys, segments, and campaigns.
- Proven experience coordinating third-party vendors, OEM/product teams, and system-integrator partners, and managing agile sprint delivery.




- Strong understanding of Scrum methodology and hands-on experience running sprints and Scrum ceremonies.
- Working knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) for backlog, sprint, and documentation management.
- Awareness of website security best practices and experience coordinating vulnerability remediation with security teams.
- Strong requirement-gathering, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent communication and executive presence — comfortable presenting to and reviewing with CIO / senior leadership.

- Familiarity with integrations across commerce, analytics, and martech systems.
- Basic hands-on understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript concepts).
- Experience working with CXO-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams (Ops, Business, Legal, Procurement).
