Summary:

UST is looking for
Senior Backend Developer
with strong expertise in
Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, and AWS
to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with
enterprise-grade backend systems, microservices, API-driven architectures, and AWS cloud services
, along with strong software engineering and problem-solving skills.

The Opportunity:

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop,



and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build, integrate, and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services.
- Design secure, resilient, highly available, and high-performing backend systems.
- Apply software design patterns, clean code principles, and backend architecture best practices.
- Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring system stability and availability.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
