Job Role- Engineer - Mechanical Design
Location - Navi Mumbai
Reports To - Team Lead-Engineering Design
Job Purpose-
Assist in Engineering design of consumer appliances like fans, coolers etc. The incumbent will provide necessary design support to engineering leads in completing design tasks associated with components and sub system architectural designs. Shall assist in novel engineering solutions leading to strategic IP.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural sub systems design
- Assist in design concepts and review 3D CAD model for concepts
- Assist in developing theoretical calculations for subsystems and components.
- Assist in design changes basis simulation outcome
- Document various observations in the reviews and keep records

Benchmark product study
- Use knowledge of measurement techniques and instruments used for supporting teams in Benchmarking exercise.
- Record specifications and assist in preparing benchmark reports

Engineering design




- Create BOM (Bill of Materials), draft 2D drawings with CTQ mark, balloon diagrams, and conduct part inspection.
- Execute reverse engineering projects and engage with external agencies to ensure timely completion.
- Generate design concepts and assist in IP generation

Prototyping
- Support in Developing rapid prototypes and communicate designs in CAD

Documentation and control
- Participate in NPD (Recent Product Development) process from concept to part realization.
- Maintain document control and design change management during NPD process
- Support senior engineers in should costing

Education Qualifications- B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) Work Experience- 0-5 years of experience in Consumer Durable, Consumer Electronics, Industrial Products, Automotive industry.
