Role & responsibilities

To oversee Daily mining operations like

Drilling, Blasting, Breaking, Loading and Hauling

of Ore, Mines Development Activities.

2. To ensure and comply Mines Act, Mines

Rules, Mine Regulations, DGMS Guidelines,

IBM, PESO, Pollution Control Board and other

government bodies guidelines fully.

3. To lead the Mines Team, including Assistant

Mine Managers, Mining Foremen, Mining Mates,

Mine Supervisors and HEMM Operators.

4. To extract minerals safely and cost-effectively.

5. To Plan, Organize and Supervise Mining

Operations efficiently for producing 5500MT of

limestone per Day.

6. Track and analyse key performance indicators

(KPIs) for Mine operations, implement strategies

to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and

enhance safety.

7. To Prepare Operational Budget, Cost Control,

Optimize resource allocation.

8. To conduct Risk Assessment and Enforce

Strict Safety Protocols. Investigate and Report

accidents/incidents, implement corrective actions

as required.

To train and develop mines staff to enhance

skills, performance and appraise them annually.

10. To Promote a culture of Teamwork, Safety

and Continuous Improvement.

11. To Coordinate with Geology, Survey Team,

HEMM Maintenance Team, Quality Control,

Limestone Crusher etc for better deliverables.

12. To Deal and Laise with Local Stake Holders

for smooth production.

13.To Do RCAs, inspections, risk assessments,

and safety training for mine staff and implement

findings on the ground.

14. To Promote and Enforce Protected & Best

practices among Team Members, Develop and

implement safety training programs at regular

intervals.

15. To Prepare and implement safe operation

procedures at work site.

16. To Prepare Statutory Records, MIS and

submit statutory returns, reports as required by

Company and Seniors.
