SMC Global Securities is looking for an experienced Content Writer with a strong background in financial services to join our in-house creative team. The role focuses on creating engaging, compliance-driven content for social media platforms such as Instagram and YouTube, supporting brand building, investor education, and digital marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging content for Instagram (posts, reels, captions, carousels) and YouTube (scripts, video descriptions)
- Create finance-related content covering Equity, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, PMS, AIF, Wealth Management, and Market Updates
- Convert complex financial concepts into simple, easy-to-understand content
- Collaborate with designers, video editors, performance marketing, and digital teams for in-house creatives
- Develop content for campaigns, product promotions, brand awareness, and educational series
- Ensure content is aligned with SEBI guidelines and internal compliance requirements
- Proofread, edit, and optimize content for engagement, reach, and consistency




- Stay updated with financial markets, trends, and social media best practices
Key Skills & Requirements
- 3-8 years of content writing experience in Financial Services (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with social media content writing (Instagram & YouTube)
- Strong understanding of capital markets and investment products
- Excellent English writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Experience working with in-house creative / marketing teams
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a rapid-paced environment
- Knowledge of SEO, hashtags, and content optimization is a plus
- Preferred Candidate Profile
- Background in broking firms, wealth management companies, fintech, AMC, or PMS/AIF setups
- Experience in scriptwriting for short videos, reels, and explainers
