Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment at the project site by implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify, report, and rectify potential hazards and unsafe conditions.

· Implement and monitor Health, Safety and Environment policies, procedures, and safe work practices at the project site.

· Ensure all workers and contractors use required PPE and comply with safety procedures.

· Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety awareness programs.

· Monitor high-risk activities including work at height, excavation, electrical work, hot work, lifting operations, and scaffolding.

· Verify and monitor compliance with work permits and safety requirements.

· Ensure proper housekeeping, safe access, barricading, signage, and emergency arrangements at the site.

· Inspect scaffolding, ladders, machinery, tools, fire-fighting equipment, and other safety equipment.





· Investigate and report accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts, and recommend corrective actions.

· Prepare and maintain daily safety reports, inspection checklists, permits, incident records, and Health, Safety and Workplace documentation.

· Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and management to resolve safety-related issues.

· Conduct fire safety checks, emergency preparedness activities, and evacuation drills.

· Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety and Environment policies, applicable Indian safety laws, standards, and project requirements.

· Take immediate action, including stopping unsafe work, where there is a serious risk to workers or property.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Safety, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, HIRA or equivalent will be an advantag
