Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with B.E./B.Tech or 5 years with Diploma in Safety Engineering.
- Experience in Metro, Railway, Elevated Structures, Underground Metro, Depot, Flyover, Bridge, or other major infrastructure projects preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor all site safety activities.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, statutory requirements,



and project safety standards.
- Monitor contractor safety practices and work permits.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Investigate incidents/near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices at site.
- Maintain safety records, reports, checklists, and documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve safety issues.

Desired Skills
- Solid knowledge of construction safety practices and HSE standards.
- Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Ability to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Knowledge of Permit-to-Work, work-at-height, excavation, lifting, and confined-space safety.
