Position: Multi-Brand Car Technician

Location: Chennai

Job Purpose

To diagnose, service, repair, and maintain passenger cars across multiple brands, ensuring quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and adherence to dealership safety and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform periodic maintenance and general repairs on multi-brand passenger cars.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
- Carry out engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and AC-related repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle faults accurately.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
- Follow manufacturer-recommended repair procedures and workshop standards.
- Ensure all assigned jobs are completed within the required time.
- Maintain proper care of tools, equipment, and customer vehicles.
- Conduct quality checks after completing repairs.




- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Floor Supervisors regarding job status and technical concerns.
- Follow company safety procedures and workshop guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience in passenger car servicing and repairs.
- Positive knowledge of automobile mechanical systems.
- Basic knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
- Ability to use vehicle diagnostic scanners and workshop equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Multi-brand car experience will be an added advantage.

Experience

1–5 years of relevant experience in an automobile service workshop preferred.
Freshers with relevant ITI/Diploma qualifications may also be considered for trainee positions.
