Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate replication across development, test, and production environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot real-time data integration and replication issues between heterogeneous databases.
- Design, implement, and monitor GoldenGate architectures for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of GoldenGate implementations.
- Support and optimize database replication, including change data capture (CDC) and bidirectional replication.
- Collaborate with development and system administration teams to optimize data flows and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
- Implement patching and upgrades to GoldenGate and Oracle databases.
- Monitor, analyze, and resolve replication errors and lag.
- Provide detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Train and mentor junior DBAs and other team members.
- Perform backup and restore operations, ensuring data integrity and security.

Required Qualifications:




- Minimum 12 years of experience as an Oracle DBA with a solid focus on Oracle GoldenGate.
- Expertise in Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Deep understanding of replication, data integration, and change data capture (CDC) technologies.
- Proficiency in Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL scripting. - Experience working with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Data Guard.
- Strong knowledge of networking and database security principles.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
- Proven experience with database migration and upgrade projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
