Role Description
This is an unpaid remote internship role for a MERN Stack Intern at Dehix. The intern will assist in building and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day tasks may include implementing UI components, developing APIs, fixing bugs, writing clean and documented code, and participating in code reviews. The intern will also collaborate with product and community teams to understand requirements, test features, and contribute to iterative improvements.
This role offers hands-on learning in deep tech projects and practical experience in modern web development.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of JavaScript and experience with at least one of the MERN technologies (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
- Basic understanding of web development concepts such as REST APIs, HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and write clear, maintainable code.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a willingness to debug and improve existing code.
- Effective communication skills and comfort working in a remote, distributed team environment.
- Interest in deep tech and a desire to build projects that serve developers, business professionals, and community builders.
