About the Role
HomeFirst Finance Company is hiring a Manager – Accounts & Audit to manage accounting activities, support period-end closure, strengthen internal controls, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for professionals with 2–4 years of experience in Accounting & Finance, with hands-on exposure to GL, month-end/year-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and Ind AS.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounting and support finalization and closure of books of accounts.
Oversee bookkeeping processes and ensure effective internal controls.
Manage period-close activities including GL scrutiny, journal entries, accruals, provisioning, invoicing, and reconciliations.
Ensure quality and accuracy of financial transactions and reporting.
Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, audits, and reviews.




Perform GL reviews and analyze Balance Sheet and P&L; movements.
Prepare Ind AS workings, including ECL, EIR, and securitisation.
Support audit requirements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Preferred Candidate Profile
2–4 years of experience in Accounting & Finance
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience or working knowledge of Ind AS
Hands-on experience with General Ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing
Solid analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Ability to multitask and take on additional responsibilities
