Assistant Sales Manager – Agrochemicals | Mumbai

Brenntag is looking for a commercially driven Assistant Sales Manager to join our team in Mumbai and take ownership of a significant portfolio .

This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role focused on driving business growth, strengthening customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and expanding our product portfolio within the Agrochemicals segment.

The role will manage products across Specialty Chemicals and Solvents, including Additives, Defoamers, Feed-related products, Toluene, Cyclo, Mixed Xylene, Glycols and other relevant products supporting the Agrochemicals industry.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow revenue from existing customers while building strong, long-term business relationships.
Identify new customers,



generate leads and develop new business opportunities in collaboration with the reporting manager.
Drive upselling and cross-selling by introducing existing products to new customers and new products to existing customers.
Manage the complete sales cycle, including customer engagement, purchase orders, order processing and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain accurate and timely updates in CRM, including customer interactions, sales activities, opportunities and business development initiatives.
Regularly engage with customers to understand their requirements, address queries and resolve issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Develop and execute a 3–5 year growth strategy for the Agrochemicals segment, identifying opportunities across different sub-segments.
