Company Oliver Wyman Description Oliver Wyman s Data and Analytics team is looking to hire a Power BI specialist for our Hyderabad or Gurugram office OW DNA Overview The Oliver Wyman DNA is a distinguished center of excellence for business analytics and data analytics within Oliver Wyman This group leverages data and information to provide business insights to Oliver Wyman consulting teams driving positive outcomes and tangible impact for Oliver Wyman s clients The group combines cutting edge data science expertise with core consulting expertise to augment engagement teams with analytical firepower to deliver outstanding results Role Summary The Senior Analyst will independently manage medium to large projects work directly with business users and drive end-to-end dashboard development This role requires robust analytical thinking advanced Power BI expertise and the ability to guide junior team members The Senior Analyst will play a key role in improving reporting standards and implementing best practices Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end development of Power BI dashboards from requirement gathering to deployment Manage interactions with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions Design and optimize complex data models using DAX and Power Query Conduct thorough data validation to ensure high data integrity Lead performance optimization for large datasets and slow dashboards Ensure adherence to best practices in data visualization security and governance Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Analysts Lead UAT sessions resolve defects and ensure smooth production rollouts Contributes to building standardized templates KPI dictionaries and reusable components Prepare documentation for dashboards data models and business logic Support ad-hoc analysis requests from business stakeholders Stay updated with Power BI features and best practices to improve reporting standards Education Bachelor s degree in science
