About the Role:

We are looking for an Executive / Senior Executive Legal with relevant experience in land acquisition, property due diligence, leasing, documentation, litigation, and legal advisory. The ideal candidate should have solid drafting and negotiation skills, sound knowledge of local land laws, and preferably come from a real estate or infrastructure background.

Responsibilities:

Land Acquisition & Property Legal
- Handle legal activities related to land acquisition and property transactions.
- Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable local land laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with the Business Development (BD) Team / Land Aggregators to obtain all necessary land-related documents.
- Review and verify title and property documents and coordinate for obtaining additional documents wherever required.
- Coordinate with local advocates for title investigation and legal due diligence and ensure timely closure of the process.
- Draft and review Conveyance Deeds / Sale Deeds or coordinate with local advocates for their drafting and finalisation.




- Coordinate with the concerned teams for registration of Conveyance Deeds / Sale Deeds with the appropriate authorities.
- Handle post-acquisition legal matters, including property-related disputes and litigation, if any.
- Assist in handling litigation pertaining to property and other company matters.
- Draft Plaints, Written Statements, Affidavits, Legal Notices and other legal documents.
- Stay updated with the latest laws, regulations and judgments relevant to land and property matters.
- Manage day-to-day legal correspondence.

Leasing & Commercial Agreements
- Draft and vet Lease Deeds, Leave & License Agreements, Contracts, Addendums, Supplemental Agreements, Amendment Agreements, NDAs, Commercial Agreements, Term Sheets, Letters of Intent and other legal documents.
- Coordinate and negotiate with prospective clients and their advocates to effectively conclude transactions.
