Description Requirements Job Summary As an Automation Engineer you will work under the guidance of technical leads and senior team members to contribute to developing high-quality automation suits This role offers a great opportunity to develop your skills and career in a collaborative and supportive workplace Key Responsibilities Assist in designing developing testing and maintaining automation suits Work closely with technical leads and team members to understand design requirements and implement scripts accordingly Implement integrations using standard industry technologies e g Selenium Java Cucumber BDD REST APIs SOAP JSON XML Apply object-oriented design principles and design patterns in automation Optimize and enhance existing systems for scalability performance and maintainability under the guidance of senior team members Participate in code reviews offering and receiving constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve script defects and issues Utilize relational databases and SQL for data storage solutions as directed Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and be open to learning new skills Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor s or master s degree with 60 - 70 4 years of professional experience in automation QA and script development Working knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns Working knowledge in data structures and algorithms Working knowledge with Selenium Java Working knowledge with Cucumber BDD Working knowledge with relational databases and SQL Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed Preferred Skills Working knowledge with version control systems e g Git Working Knowledge of software development methodologies e g Agile Scrum Kanban Working Knowledge with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE Working Knowledge
