This is a project based opportunity for Freelancers/Independent Consultants.
Our client, a global leader in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking an
Independent Senior BI Developer,
which involves Data warehousing, ETL development(Informatica), Data modelling, Reports/dashboard development, and working in global teams and supporting a global cross-functional workplace, partnering with internal customers to help, support, and
enhance business systems.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Delivery of enhancement requests and other operational activities of the project
2. Up-to-date communication to stakeholders using JIRA as a medium.
3. Participate in Replenishment calls with stakeholders to clarify blockers and agree on deliveries
4. Train and mentor team members and management to understand technologies
5. Track and follow up on the action items
6.
Ensure all requests are addressed in a timely manner with optimal solutions
7. Simplify – use every opportunity to simplify to the maximum extent possible and go the extra mile in doing so
8. Collaborate with internal teams to address business needs
9. Assume personal responsibility for achieving defined outcomes
10. Effectively plan & organize work to deliver consistent results
Note:
Duration- 3 months (Extendable)
Location- Remote; Occasional travel to Bangalore (Avinya), if required
Capacity- Full Time
Skills Required
1. Engineering Graduate or Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
2. Certified in one or more of the following is an advantage – Informatica - DI, Sql/PSql
Experience:
1. 5-8 years of BI experience
2. 5+ years of experience on Informatica, SQL (minimum 2 years of experience on each of the tools mentioned)
3. Must have worked on at least 2 complete life cycle implementations of BI projects
General:
