Job role: Transportation – Bidding and Sourcing

Location: Guindy

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the end-to-end transportation bidding and sourcing processes.
- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on performance, cost, and compliance criteria.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on vendor trends and transportation costs.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements with transportation providers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand transportation requirements and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Monitor vendor performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards in all sourcing activities.
- Maintain accurate records of bids, contracts, and vendor communications for audit and reporting purposes.

Requirements




- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in transportation bidding, sourcing, or vendor management in Logistics & Supply chain.
- Strong knowledge of the transportation vendor market and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and secure favorable terms.
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate bids and assess vendor capabilities.
- Familiarity with warehousing operations and transportation logistics.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
