Role Description The South Indian Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking a variety of authentic South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, curries, and chutneys, in an on-site, full-time role based in Mirzapur. Day-to-day tasks include managing food preparation, overseeing kitchen staff during service, monitoring food quality and presentation, and ensuring consistency in taste and portion size.



The chef will also handle ingredient selection, stock rotation, and coordination with suppliers to maintain fresh and high-quality inventory. Additional responsibilities include maintaining hygiene and safety standards, organizing the kitchen for effective workflow, and collaborating with management on menu development and seasonal specials. The role involves occasional training of junior staff, adapting recipes to customer feedback, and supporting smooth service during peak hours.
Qualifications
Strong experience in South Indian cuisine, including traditional breakfast items, main courses, snacks, and regional specialties.
Proficiency in core cooking techniques such as roasting, frying, steaming, tempering, and use of South Indian spices and ingredients.
