Support a variety of planning projects by applying academic knowledge and gaining hands-on experience.
Assist in preparing reports, proposals, and graphics, while learning best practices from senior team members.
Participate in client meetings, public engagement, and project coordination as an observer and contributor, building confidence and professional skills.
Conduct research and analysis to support planning recommendations, leveraging guidance from experienced planners.
Engage in mentorship opportunities by actively learning from senior leaders and contributing to collaborative team efforts.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative, practical solutions while expanding technical and qualified expertise.
Qualifications
1-2 years of relevant planning experience preferred
Degree in Urban Planning or related discipline.
Full or Provisional Membership in OPPI/CIP preferred.
Strong knowledge of Ontario’s land use planning system and municipal processes.
Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; GIS and graphic production skills are assets.
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (travel may be required).
