Teaching & Academic Duties
- Teach core and elective courses in Aerospace Engineering such as:
- Aerodynamics
- Flight Mechanics
- Aircraft Structures
- Propulsion
- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Space Mechanics
- Avionics
- Develop lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and examinations.
- Conduct laboratory sessions and supervise design projects.
- Mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Evaluate student performance and provide academic guidance.
Research Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research in aerospace-related domains.
- Publish papers in reputed journals and conferences.
- Apply for funded research projects and grants.
- Collaborate with industry, research organizations, and academic institutions.
- Guide M.Tech/MS/PhD scholars where applicable.
Administrative & Institutional Duties
- Participate in curriculum development and accreditation activities.
- Serve on departmental and institutional committees.
- Organize workshops, seminars, FDPs, and technical events.
- Support student clubs, competitions, and innovation activities.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safety compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
- Robust academic background with specialization in areas such as:
- Aerodynamics
- Structures
- Propulsion
- Space Engineering
- UAVs/Drone Technology
- CFD
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
