Job Purpose

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the implementation, testing, and validation of the high-frequency ultrasound research platform through experimental setup, data acquisition, software development, and day-to-day technical execution of the project.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development, implementation, and testing of signal processing and imaging algorithms for high-frequency ultrasound structural and functional imaging.
Support experimental setup, data collection, phantom preparation, system calibration, and routine operation of imaging hardware and associated measurement equipment.
Conduct bench top and phantom experiments according to defined protocols, and assist in organizing, processing, and documenting experimental data.
Develop and maintain software scripts, processing pipelines, and visualization tools for imaging experiments and performance evaluation.
Support system integration activities involving sensors, data acquisition hardware,



software interfaces, and computational workflows.
Help prepare technical documentation, reports, figures, and datasets needed for project reviews, publications, and presentations.
Maintain laboratory records, inventory, and equipment logs, and support procurement, setup, and troubleshooting of components and consumables.
Assist in training and supporting students or project users in the use of the developed systems and software.
Perform other project-related technical duties assigned by the Principal Investigator or senior research staff.

Job Requirements

MTech, MSc, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, Signal Processing, or a related field.
Valuable knowledge of signal processing, imaging, electronics, instrumentation, or medical device-related development.
Hands-on experience in programming, preferably in Pyth
