The Kroc Institute's
core faculty
consists of about two dozen scholar-teachers with expertise in history, political science, anthropology, law, sociology, theology, and peace studies.

Faculty conduct research; teach and mentor undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. students; and contribute to peacebuilding practice, including consultation with government, civil society and religious groups, training of peacebuilders, and a wide range of public writing, speaking, and media outreach.

, who spend a semester or a year conducting peace research at the Kroc Institute.
