Role Description The Engineering Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Hard Rock Hotel Goa in Calangute. This role oversees daily engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring the hotel’s facilities, systems, and equipment are safe, functional, and well-maintained. Responsibilities include leading and scheduling the engineering team, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and managing projects related to building systems, utilities, and integrations with hotel technologies. The Engineering Manager collaborates with hotel leadership to prioritize work orders, control costs, and support guest satisfaction through efficient operations. The role also involves monitoring compliance with safety standards, environmental guidelines, and local regulations, while maintaining transparent documentation and reporting.
Qualifications




Candidates should possess strong Engineering Management and Project Management skills to oversee maintenance operations and facility-related projects.
Candidates should possess solid Team Leadership skills to guide, mentor, and coordinate engineering staff effectively.
Candidates should possess practical knowledge of building services, mechanical and electrical systems, and hotel facility maintenance.
Relevant engineering degree or diploma (mechanical, electrical, or civil) and prior experience in hospitality or large facilities management is beneficial.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Familiarity with safety standards, regulatory compliance, and preventive maintenance planning is advantageous.
