Job Description
The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for estimating project costs, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), measuring quantities, managing contracts, and controlling project costs throughout the construction lifecycle. The role ensures that projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality and contractual compliance.
Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
Develop and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for tendering and execution.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for civil construction projects.
Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Verify contractor and subcontractor bills based on executed quantities.
Prepare rate analysis for extra items, variations, and change orders.
Conduct quantity reconciliation for materials such as concrete, steel, cement, and other construction items.
Review contract documents and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Coordinate with design, procurement, billing, and site teams for quantity and cost-related matters.
