Job Overview

The Electrical and Instrumentation Proposal Engineer is responsible for developing technical and commercial proposals for E&I; scopes in projects across oil & gas, power, chemicals, manufacturing, or similar industries. The role involves analysing client specifications,



estimating costs, preparing bid documents, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the sales process to secure new projects.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze RFQs (Requests for Quotation), ITBs (Invitation to Bid), and tender documents related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals including scope of work, bill of materials (BOM), specifications, drawings, cost estimation, and delivery schedules.
Estimate costs for materials, labor, subcontractors, and equipment based on client requirements and industry standards.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, project management, and construction teams to gather input for proposal preparation.
Identify deviations and clarifications to client specifications and standards.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment pricing, delivery times, and technical information.
