We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Fund Reporting to join our Financial Reporting team. This role is located in Pune.

Role Summary: This role plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of periodic financial reporting for our diverse portfolio of investment products. This role bridges traditional and alternative investment spaces, requiring technical expertise in financial statement preparation for registered investment funds (under the Investment Company Act of 1940) as well as alternative structures, including hedge funds, private equity (PE), and real estate funds. The ideal candidate brings robust fund accounting acumen, a deep understanding of US GAAP (ASC 946), and a track record of coordinating successfully with independent auditors and regulatory bodies.
1. Financial Statement Preparation & Review
Lead the drafting, compiling, and technical review of complete sets of financial statements, including the Schedule of Investments (SOI),



Statement of Assets and Liabilities, Statement of Operations, Statement of Changes in Net Assets, Statement of Cash Flows, and associated footnote disclosures.
Maintain a deep understanding of complex financial instruments, derivative products, and multi-tier fund structures (e.g., master-feeder, fund-of-funds).
Oversee the unique financial reporting requirements for alternative asset classes, ensuring accurate accounting for private equity capital calls/distributions, waterfall calculations, performance fees/incentive allocations, and real estate valuation adjustments.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Valuation Oversight
Support compliance with the Investment Company Act of 1940, SEC rules, Regulation S-X, and specialized accounting policies (ASC 946 for Investment Companies and ASC 820 for Fair Value Measurements).
Assist in the preparation and filing of regulatory returns and SEC forms, including Form N-C
