Qualification:

B.E. / M.E. – Mechanical, Metallurgical or Material Science

Job Responsibility:
Technical specialist in forged and cast steel grinding media balls for mining, with deep expertise in steel chemistry, forging, heat treatment, microstructure control, and wear/impact performance in SAG, ball and Verti mill applications.
Experience in forging and plant process optimization, including commissioning a new grinding media production line, implementing quality systems (ASTM, DIN, ISO 9001 etc), reducing non- conforming product, and recent product development.
Exposure to supplier and foundry audits for technical qualification and acquisition assessment.
Should be well versed with technical validation and troubleshooting of grinding media, including mill surveys, wear rate and consumption analysis, impact/load and vibration monitoring, and performance trials in media consumption.
Should be driving the measurable improvements in support of various stakeholders.
