Position Summary

Software Specialist Engineer II

We are seeking a UI/UX Generalist Lead who can contribute across the end-to-end design lifecycle, including research, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, validation, handoff, and design QA.

This role is suited for someone who can work hands-on on complex business and enterprise workflows, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior designers while maintaining a high standard of design quality and accessibility.

A portfolio is good to have and, if shared, should demonstrate relevant case studies, problem-solving approach, end-to-end UX process, and shipped outcomes.

Work you'll do

As a Software Specialist Engineer II on the CoRe Business Solutions team, you will be responsible for:

Lead end-to-end UX work across discovery, research synthesis, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, visual design, validation, handoff, and design QA
Design intuitive, responsive, and scalable experiences for web and enterprise applications, including complex workflows, edge cases,



and multi-step user interactions
Translate business and user needs into practical design solutions aligned with business goals, technical feasibility, and user needs
Partner with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to shape experiences, communicate design rationale, and support implementation
Mentor junior designers, contribute to design consistency, and improve workflows, documentation, and design-to-development handoff practices
