About the Role

We are an Indo-Western and Western women's wear brand entering production and are looking for an experienced Production Merchandiser to lead our production process from concept to delivery. This role bridges design and manufacturing, ensuring products are produced on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate design concepts into production-ready tech packs, working closely with the design team on specs, fabrics, embellishments, and construction details
- Source and negotiate with fabric mills, embroidery/embellishment units, karigars, and manufacturing partners on pricing, MOQs,



and lead times
- Manage the end-to-end production timeline, from sampling and approvals through to bulk production and delivery
- Review and approve fit samples, pre-production samples, and bulk samples for quality and accuracy
- Manage costing sheets to ensure products meet target margins without compromising quality
- Plan production quantities by style, size, and print/color based on demand
- Coordinate with karigars and embellishment units for embroidery and specialised handwork
- Conduct quality checks and resolve production issues with vendors and factories
- Maintain production trackers and provide regular updates to the Director

- 5–7 years of experience in production merchandising or sourcing, ideally within Indian ethnic or fusion wear
