Job Overview:
CGI We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with 3–6 years of experience in building scalable and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API development, CI/CD pipelines,
and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.
Build scalable microservices and integrate with external systems.
Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
Work closely with DevOps teams to support cloud-native deployments.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Prepare technical documentation and support production deployments.
