Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret business data to support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization and reporting tools, and the ability to transform complex data into meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple business sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and MIS for management.
- Analyze sales, inventory, customer, marketing, and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly business performance reports.
- Design interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Identify business problems and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
- Automate recurring reports wherever possible.
- Present analytical findings to management in a clear and concise manner.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering,



Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, MIS Analyst, or Business Analyst.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel including Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookup Functions, and Dashboards).
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the publishing, education, FMCG, or distribution industry.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an added advantage.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Understanding of business intelligence and reporting concepts.
- Ability to automate reports and improve reporting processes.
