Experience - 5 to 15 years

Production & Process Management

- Plan and execute daily sizing production as per weaving requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of sized beams for weaving operations.
- Monitor sizing machine performance, production efficiency, and machine utilization.
- Control sizing parameters to achieve required add-on percentage and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Warping and Weaving departments for production planning.
- Maintain production records, beam tracking, and process reports.

Quality Control

- Ensure correct preparation of size mix as per process standards.
- Monitor size pick-up percentage, moisture content, viscosity, and yarn strength.
- Analyze warp breakages and take corrective actions to improve loom efficiency.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained for all sized beams.
- Conduct root cause analysis for sizing-related quality issues.

Process Improvement

- Implement process optimization initiatives for quality and productivity enhancement.
- Monitor chemicals, starch, binders, and sizing material consumption.
- Reduce yarn waste, rework, and sizing costs.
- Improve beam performance through continuous process improvement activities.

Maintenance Coordination

- Coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdown handling and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure proper functioning of sizing machines, drying cylinders, and related equipment.
- Monitor machine downtime and recommend corrective measures.

Team Management





- Supervise operators, fitters, helpers, and contract workforce.
- Allocate manpower effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- Train employees on process standards, safety practices, and quality requirements.
- Monitor shift-wise productivity and workforce performance.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S practices in the sizing department.
- Follow company policies, environmental norms, and statutory requirements.
- Participate in safety audits and improvement initiatives.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain batch records, production reports, quality reports, and consumption data.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sizing operations.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Textile Technology or Textile Engineering.
- Additional certifications in Textile Processing or Lean Manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,297.83 - ₹48,872.64 per month
