What This Job Is About
Responsible for making sure products are made correctly and on time at the factories. Visit pattern master, stitching units, wash units and finishing units - checking that work is happening as planned, finding problems early and fixing them. 100% QC to be completed before inventory is shipped from factory.
Main responsibilities :
Check Quality (QC Inspection)
- Visit factories daily and check the work being done
- Look for defects - both big and small - in stitching, measurements, patterns, washing, buttons, rivets, trims, finishing
- Stop any work that doesn't meet our standards - nothing to exit factory until it's fixed
- Do this check while work is happening (in-line QC) and also check finished pieces (final QC)
Check Patterns & Measurements
- Compare what's being made against our sizing chart and pattern specifications
- Measure garments to make sure products match our sizing chart and design specifications exactly
- Watch for shrinkage issues after washing
- If something is off - even slightly - catch it the same day, not after the full batch is done
Track Production Timing
- Keep daily notes on what's being made at each factory
- Know which orders are most urgent and make sure they get priority
- If work is falling behind, tell the company management immediately so we can fix it
- Make sure materials move without damage and at proper speed from one unit to the next — fabric supplier → stitching → wash → finishing → dispatch
Handle Samples
- When we make new styles, check the sample carefully before bulk production starts
- Ensure signing of PP patch
- If there's a problem with fit, washing,
or pattern at sample stage, inform for fixing
Source Materials & Find Vendors
- Find local vendors for trims (buttons, rivets, zips, thread, labels, etc.)
- Work with fabric suppliers to get best prices and timely delivery
- Make sure we get quality materials at the lowest cost
Daily Reporting
Send a short update every day (WhatsApp or email) covering: what was made, where it is, any problems you found, what actions you took, what happens next
