· Prepare the operating theatre before each surgical procedure.

· Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, implants, sutures, and consumables are available and sterile.

· Verify patient identity, consent, surgical site, and procedure as per the Surgical Safety Checklist.

· Arrange sterile instrument trolley according to the surgical procedure.

· Perform surgical hand scrub, sterile gowning, and gloving.

· Check functionality of OT equipment before surgery.

· Assist in patient positioning while ensuring safety and pressure injury prevention

· Maintain strict aseptic technique and sterile field throughout the procedure.

· Anticipate the surgeon's requirements and pass instruments promptly.

· Count instruments, needles, sponges, and swabs before, during, and after surgery with the circulating nurse.

· Handle surgical specimens correctly and ensure proper labeling.

· Monitor sterility of instruments and replace contaminated items immediately.





· Assist in handling implants, prostheses, and specialized equipment.

· Ensure proper documentation of consumables and implants used during surgery.

· Report equipment malfunction or any patient safety concerns immediately.

· Complete final instrument, needle, and sponge counts.

· Assist in application of dressings and patient transfer to the recovery area.

· Segregate biomedical waste according to Biomedical Waste Management guidelines.

· Send used instruments for decontamination and sterilization (CSSD).

· Prepare the OT for the next surgical case.

· Complete all required nursing documentation accurately.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
