Job Role: Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, installation, and improvement of mechanical systems, equipment, and manufacturing processes. The candidate will work closely with production, quality, procurement, maintenance, and other engineering teams to deliver safe, reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, machines, and systems.
- Prepare and review 2D/3D engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Use CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
- Perform engineering calculations, design validation, and basic analysis.
- Support prototype development, testing, installation, and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and identify root causes of failures.
- Work with production teams to resolve manufacturing and process-related issues.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and process optimisation.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for technical requirements and component development.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering, quality, and safety standards.
- Maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, reports, and other technical records.
- Participate in root-cause analysis, corrective actions,



and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities where required.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and engineering requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, machine design, or industrial equipment.
- Good knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering practices.
- Proficiency in at least one CAD software package.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and engineering drawings.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of DFM/DFA, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM.
- Exposure to FEA or engineering simulation tools.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, sheet metal, or assembly processes.
- Experience in equipment installation and commissioning.
- Strong documentation and project-management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹500,000.00 per year
