Role Overview

GenRec.AI is hiring for its client, a leading engineering and architectural solutions company, seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Designer / AutoCAD Draftsman. The successful candidate will prepare accurate shop, fabrication, and installation drawings while working closely with architects, consultants, and project execution teams to deliver technically sound and buildable solutions.

Role Overview

We are looking for detail-oriented Architectural Designers to prepare fabrication, shop, and

installation drawings for premium building envelope projects while coordinating with architects,

consultants, production, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare AutoCAD shop drawings.
- Develop fabrication and installation drawings.
- Coordinate with architects and structural consultants.
- Revise drawings based on site feedback.
- Prepare BOQs where required.
- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation.
- Support production and execution teams with technical clarifications.

Requirements

- Diploma/B.Arch/Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of drafting experience.
- Excellent AutoCAD skills.
- Knowledge of SketchUp is preferred.
- Experience in façades, glazing, skylights, windows, or architectural metalwork is preferred.
- Solid attention to detail.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year

- Do you have experience preparing or checking BOQs / material take-offs from drawings?
- Do you have experience maintaining drawing revisions, numbering and documentation?
- Do you have a Diploma/B.Arch/B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline?
- How many years of experience do you have specifically in façade/glazing/windows/skylights/architectural metalwork drafting?
- How many years of hands-on AutoCAD experience do you have?
- Have you prepared detailed shop/fabrication drawings that were actually used for manufacturing and site installation of façades, windows, glazing, skylights, curtain walls, or architectural metalwork?
