Job Purpose
The Service Advisor is responsible for providing a professional customer experience throughout the motorcycle service process—from vehicle reception and job card creation to service updates, billing, and vehicle delivery. The role requires strong technical understanding, customer-handling skills, and coordination with the workshop team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Customer Reception & Vehicle Inspection
- Welcome customers professionally and understand their service requirements.
- Listen carefully to customer complaints and identify the required work.
- Conduct a preliminary inspection of the motorcycle along with the customer.
- Record vehicle condition, existing damages, accessories, and customer concerns accurately.
- Job Card & Service Estimation
- Create accurate job cards with complete customer and vehicle details.
- Explain the recommended service and repair requirements to customers.
- Prepare and communicate estimated costs for labour, parts, consumables, and other services.
- Obtain customer approval before carrying out additional repair work.
- Workshop Coordination
- Coordinate with technicians and the Service In-Charge to ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Monitor the progress of vehicles under service.
- Ensure that customer complaints are properly diagnosed and resolved.
- Follow up on pending parts and repair requirements.
- Customer Communication
- Keep customers informed about service progress, additional requirements, and expected delivery time.
- Explain technical issues and repair requirements in easy, customer-friendly language.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and coordinate with the concerned department for resolution.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Quality Control & Final Inspection
- Verify that all requested jobs have been completed before delivery.
- Ensure the motorcycle undergoes the required quality checks.
- Conduct a final inspection and road test where applicable.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and properly prepared for delivery.
- Billing & Vehicle Delivery
- Explain the final invoice, parts replaced, labour charges, and other applicable costs.
- Ensure all customer approvals and documentation are completed.
- Coordinate with the billing and delivery team.
- Explain completed work, maintenance recommendations, and next service schedule during vehicle delivery.
- Follow-Up & Customer Retention
- Conduct post-service follow-up calls to understand customer satisfaction.
- Handle feedback and complaints promptly.
- Encourage customers to follow the recommended service schedule.
- Support customer retention and improve repeat-service business.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Previous experience in automobile/motorcycle service is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of motorcycle servicing and basic mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
- Good computer and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery timelines.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
