JOB DESCRIPTION – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (BDE)
Position: Business Development Executive
Department: Business Development / Operations
Reporting To: AGM – Operations / Business Development Manager
Location: C Kare Health Group
Job Purpose
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, increasing patient footfall and treatment conversions, developing referral networks, and supporting revenue growth across assigned dental departments and hospital locations.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Development
- Identify and develop current business opportunities for dental services.
- Build relationships with hospitals, doctors, corporates, institutions, and referral partners.
- Develop and maintain a strong referral network.
- Conduct regular market visits and identify potential sources of patient referrals.
- Promote key treatments such as dental implants, orthodontics, aligners, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and other specialty services.
2. Patient Lead Generation & Conversion
- Generate patient leads through direct marketing, referrals, corporate tie-ups, awareness programs, and other channels.
- Follow up with leads and prospective patients regularly.
- Coordinate with the dental team to convert consultations into treatment cases.
- Maintain proper records of leads, follow-ups, conversions, and lost cases.
- Follow up with pending treatment plans and inactive patients.
3. Doctor & Referral Network Management
- Develop professional relationships with referring doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Visit referral sources regularly and communicate available dental specialties and services.
- Track referrals received from each source.
- Identify high-potential referral partners and strengthen relationships with them.
4. Marketing & Awareness Activities
- Coordinate dental awareness camps, health camps, corporate programs, and promotional activities.
- Support social media and local marketing initiatives.
- Assist in preparing promotional materials and treatment campaigns.
- Identify opportunities for community outreach and patient education programs.
5. Revenue & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.
- Monitor branch-wise and treatment-wise revenue generated through business development activities.
- Focus on improving conversion rates and increasing high-value treatment cases.
- Prepare action plans for achieving assigned targets.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Submit daily activity reports and weekly/monthly performance reports.
- Maintain records of leads, referrals, follow-ups, conversions, and revenue.
- Track referral-source performance.
- Provide management with market feedback, competitor information, and business opportunities.
7. Coordination
- Coordinate with doctors, dental coordinators, front office, marketing, and operations teams.
- Ensure smooth handling of referred patients.
- Communicate patient requirements and follow-up status to the concerned team.
- Escalate operational issues affecting patient conversion or business development.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Experience in healthcare, dental, hospital, pharmaceutical, or service-sector business development is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and reporting systems.

Experience

The Business Development Executive will be accountable for achieving assigned business targets, developing referral networks, generating qualified patient leads, improving treatment conversions, and contributing to the overall revenue growth of the assigned dental departments.
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
