- Provide and supervise safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patients' clinical condition.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed and within scope of practice.
- Perform and supervise nursing procedures, including wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, specimen collection, and other clinical procedures.
- Recognize signs of patient deterioration and initiate appropriate interventions and timely escalation.
- Assist doctors during procedures, treatments, emergencies, and critical-care interventions as applicable.
- Supervise Junior Staff Nurses, Staff Nurses, nursing assistants, and other assigned healthcare personnel.
- Allocate duties and ensure appropriate staffing and continuity of patient care.
- Conduct and supervise shift handovers and ensure accurate communication of patient information.
- Review nursing documentation, medication records, treatment charts, and patient care plans for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with medication-safety, infection-control, patient-safety, and clinical protocols.




- Coordinate patient care with physicians and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training to junior nursing staff.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment, medication, procedures, discharge care, and health management.
- Handle patient and relative concerns professionally and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
- Ensure availability, proper use, and safe handling of medicines, equipment, instruments, and nursing supplies.
- Monitor the cleanliness, safety, and readiness of the assigned clinical area.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement programs, infection-control activities, and nursing initiatives.
- Assist in orientation and competency assessment of newly joined nursing staff.
- Participate in emergency preparedness, drills, and response activities.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold qualified nursing ethics.
- Prepare and submit required nursing reports to the Nurse Manager or Nursing In-Charge.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Nursing Management.
